Well, it's really recorded episodes, but you can now download them on iTunes and listen to them.
Welcome to So You Wanna Sell On eBay. We are thrilled to announce the launch of the “So You Wanna Sell On eBay” podcast. For Ali and I, it has been an incredible journey just getting to this point. It is truly an exciting day.
We used to sell top quality leather products, like backpacks, briefcases and totebags on our eCommerce website Nuttin' But Leather since 2007. That business did just fine.
We are also web developers and have been eBay developers for about 9 years. So, we have clients that want websites and we have clients that want custom eBay Store and Listings. In addition, we have clients that want both. So, for them we create websites that are integrated with their eBay Store. That means that, for example, if you have 10 baseball hats for sale on your website and eBay Store you won't sell 11 baseball hats.
Some months ago we decided to create an eBay Store for Nuttin' But Leather. That in itself was not difficult. We've done a TON of them, and in short time we had our eBay Store. Woohoo! Where is everyone? We quickly realized that Hollywood has it wrong when in “Field of Dreams” they said “if you build it, he will come”. We've been waiting for him… or her. So we came to the conclusion that while we as men cannot stop to ask directions, asking the experts for guidance would probably be okay. We started looking for any help from the so called “experts”. Where are they? Sure there are forums out there. Most have some good content, but you have to sift through them to get to it. There are even a few podcasts out there. However, none that we found were interviewing successful eBay sellers.
Ali and I are passionate about helping others. We're a bit selfish too. So we came up with the idea that if we could host a podcast show that could help others and we could gain knowledge from it too, that would be a win-win for everyone. And if you consider the successful eBay sellers and entrepreneurs that we interview as winners, that becomes a win-win-win. Thus, “So You Wanna Sell On eBay” – The Podcast for the eBay Seller was born.
To be clear, Ali and I are not eBay experts in any capacity related to selling. Need proof? Check out our feedback score of 141 (at the time of this writing) at Nuttin' But Leather. We don't claim to be experts in that arena, but we are having a great time interviewing those that qualify.
I hope you enjoy the podcasts as much as we enjoy creating them. We are meeting some awesome people along the way and really look forward to getting this podcast show out to the masses.
I will leave you with a quote from Farrah Gray, “Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs”.
